Students have been enjoying tying the ends of these blankets. It has been quite a learning experience. We have sent two blankets and will send the rest by Friday, December 4. With the help of many dedicated people, these blankets will go to many sick people in our church community.

SUPER HERO DAY

Friday, November 20 is Super Hero Day. Students were given a partner. They were to come up with a super hero and a sidekick. Students may dress as that super hero after school begins.

VOCABULARY

The mystery word for the week of November 16 is encounter. Be able to place the word encounter in a sentence to be placed in a drawing.

Beginning November 18 students will be reviewing all vocabulary words in reading. (Chapter 1, 2, & 3) If student sees a vocabulary in their reading, television watching, video game , or etc., they need to see me for a slip. All slips will be put in a raffle for drawings throughout December. The more you enter the more you can win.
